About the Creators of this Guide

Hi everyone! Our names are Michael Palmeri, Edward Hwang, Valentina Aldana, and Ayush Andhavarapu. We are 4 medical students who all completed our undergraduate studies together at Johns Hopkins University, and are now at different med schools, such as Northwestern, UCLA, Duke, and Harvard.

The summer after we finished our undergrad, we all decided to meet up three times a week over Zoom and create something which was designed to help other aspiring med students truly understand and crack the MCAT, beyond just memorizing content.

You see, when we were preparing for the MCAT, we were frustrated over the actual methods of approaching a problem, or the strategies which needed to be applied in the high pressure test taking environment. We believed that this was mostly due to the fact that the resources we were using were created by people who had never taken the test, NOT by students who had actually taken the exam and experienced the process and the challenges firsthand. And that's why we created this guide. We want this guide to make you feel as if you are in control of the exam, rather than the exam controlling you.
